The proposed clean room facility for chipset and memory chips production with office and supported by a cub building, has been designed to encourage the rejuvenation of the Kolam Ayer industrial estate.
Due to the nature of the clean room activities, designated knock-out panel and shutters on the facade were provided for future access of bulky equipment to the various floors. For safety considerations, cars access is separated from the heavy vehicles.
The facade is expressed through the use of metal framing, perforated panels, metal railings for sun-shading. A rooftop garden complements the office use at the roof level.
